Luis Weiß is a musician and music producer in Cologne. His work is characterised by artistic projects in church spaces and the development of innovation in church music. Weiß develops musical concepts within and outside of liturgy (including the musical design of the plenary sessions III and IV of the Synodal Way) and produces arrangements of church songs as well as his own text settings. He was the KHG Cologne’s music and liturgy officer from 2017 – 2022 and a Cusanuswerk scholarship holder from 2010-2015. As a music producer, he also releases music albums between jazz, church music and electronic music on his label Acoustic Motion Concepts.
MoveDove is a church music crossover formation by Luis Weiß. After two studio albums and numerous church concerts, church services and own mass compositions, MoveDove does not stand for a specific instrumentation but for innovation in church music and liturgy.
