W17: Useful in the social space
How do we gain trust in a neighbourhood? Especially when there are hardly any people living there who can relate to “Church”? The workshop will show methods and practices of how Church can be present in the social space.
Michael Kleemann
Michael Kleemann is a parish worker in Nuremberg. One of his main areas of work is in a neighbourhood characterised by people with often precarious living conditions, multicultural and multireligious. In addition to the question of how the Church can be present and effective in this environment, he is intensively involved with the coexistence of religions in the neighbourhood.
Sarah Kneifel
Sarah Kneifel ist Gemeindereferentin in Nürnberg. Einer ihrer Tätigkeitsschwerpunkte liegt in der Arbeit an einer Grundschule in einem sozialen Brennpunkt. Neben dem Religionsunterricht ist sie dort auch in der Schulpastoral tätig. Hier ist sie gleichermaßen für alle Lehrerinnen und Lehrer, sowie alle Schülerinnen und Schüler ansprechbar und generiert Angebote für die gesamte Schulfamilie. Bei ihrer Arbeit geht sie der Frage nach, wie Menschen aus verschiedensten Kulturen und Religionen gut miteinander leben und voneinander lernen können.
